AHHH! Yo I can’t tell you how happy I was to see that Tame Impala finally came out with something new! I know Kevin Parker has been working with so many other artists through these years (Thundercat, John Mayer, Travis Scott, Kali Uchis and of course, Pond) …but I was happy. And I love it!
Yeah it doesn’t veer far from the sound of Currents (2015), but I mean… that album has held solid through the years. And with all he’s worked with since, as we’ve been “patiently” waiting — I’m excited to see what’s to come.
Oh, and yes, Kevin Parker — it has been too long.
Told ya I’d be back with more Midnight Magic! I’ve been obsessed with them lately, and this song in particular this week. All of this Brooklyn-based dance band’s albums are FIRE. Highly recommend! Just check ‘em out.
