I had two weddings to attend, with just a couple weeks in between. I had just itched for a getaway! Turns out my mom did too, so we decided to take our first ever mother-daughter trip!

The destination was my choice —as was the extremely last minute booking (which she did not like lol).

After booking, I let her know we’d be leaving in just two days, for a week in One Happy Island! She had no idea where that was at the time, but still very excited. And y’all, it was incredible!!

Due to pandemic (and hatred of planning), I decided to book a solo trip for my birthday. Initially, settled on a relaxing few days in Oklahoma; then, about a week before my planned days away, impulsively bought ticket to spend a week out of the country!
